Focus and area

The Danish Journal of Higher Education aims to be a publication channel for researchers in the field of higher education pedagogy as well as lecturers, developers and administrators employed at higher education institutions.

We welcome contributions based on empirical evidence, theories, concepts, methods and experiences of relevance to higher education pedagogy in general, i.e. in relation to bachelor, master and PhD degree programmes, open education as well as continuing education at universities.

The journal is listed at level 1 in the university ranking of scientific journals. Publishing articles in the journal is free of charge.

The journal was established in 2006 by the Danish Network for Educational Development in Higher Education.
